在超重新元素合成的关键挑战-最佳反应能量方面取得了重要进展,为我国新元素的合成提供了重要依据;在低能重离子核反应理论模型方面取得了突破,建立了新的理论模型。至今在Physical Review Letters,Physics Letters B,Physical Review Research, Physical Review C等知名期刊发表SCI论文90篇,总引用1500余次。在国际/国内会议做特邀报告近10次。担任第十五届中山大学校级本科教学督导。
